KU in Media (25 May 2006)

I read an interesting letter by former assistant professor of Kathmandu University, Ghanshyam Bhatt. It is a pity that he was forced to resign when he questioned the legality of the university to Registrar Sita Rama Adhikari.
I wonder how Dr Suresh Raj Sharma could be a vice chancellor of Kathmandu University (KU) for such a long time. Does the university have any council to govern it?

Or, is it a private company run by registrar and vice chancellor? I think the current government must set up a commission to probe into how the vice chancellor and registrar abused their authorities.
