KU movement: a revolution against terror
Words are porters. As Khagendra Sangroula said, we need to use words, to spread a good message and to correct injustices. While supporting KU movement, we used this blog to bring the rot inside KU to outside so that people can understand that everything is not honkydory here. We used “words” only to fight against tyranny of Suresh Raj and his regime in KU. We have not mobilized mandales against peaceful agitators. We did not use local goons against an innocent employee. We did not use tainted and corrupt sibling to attack founding professor. We used words only and we used words to tell the whole world what a mess Suresh Raj is presiding over.
But, biased minds have failed to see reasoning in our arguments. As these minds are influenced by so called visionary, sadhu and educationist Suresh Raj, they start questioning our credibility. Even king Gyanendra has supporters. This is the stark reality. So, your preachings are nothing except ranting and ravings to confuse people and to save the depost called Suresh Raj in KU. If you think that we are really motivated, then you are right. We are motivated to book the culprit who heaped piles of abuses against senior professor in KU premise itself. We are motivated to book the culprit who mercilessly attacked our colleague. And we are motivated to book a machiavalian thug who has used deans and registrars as well as others to threaten our colleague Buddhi Bahadur Viswakarma.
You have read our arguments and these arguments generated softcorners in your mind for Suresh Raj? Right? No body likes to talk ill of others. We know it very well. But, we are forced to expose Suresh Raj because his regime and his administration is responsible for loss of a valuable life in KU. Buddhi Bahadur's contribution in KU is no less significant than that of Suresh Raj. But, for the people who are brought up in a servile culture, sighs of powerfuls are more audible than shrill cries of ordinary nepalis. Budhhi Bahadur's wife has already said that Buddhi committed suicide because of official threats against the movement in KU. She has named the accused and she has revealed the whole KU administration is involved in issuing threats to Buddhi Bahadur Bishwakarma.
My question to you preachers-Why can't you listen to what this powerless lady has said?
Try to understand her travails and sorrows, then you will understand what mission we are now in. We are in mission now to throw Suresh Raj out from KU and restore academic values. We are teachers that is why we have to stick to this mission. Had we been somebody else, we would not have been bogged down with this responsibility of letting the truth prevail in KU. Only real teachers take the responsibilities seriously, not the fake ones. Suresh Raj is not a professor. He is simply a nepotistic, narrow minded devil who would stoop to any level to keep his powerful position intact. So, preachers, try to understand that we are in a mission and we will remain glued to this mission at any cost.
It is because of Suresh Raj only everything in KU is at a crossroads at present. And through this blog we are just trying to examine our real situation with some intellect and diligence. For the people who complain that we are against an individual, then they must know we are shedding light on real Suresh Raj to carry out an impartial examination. And impartial examinations must be done in the background of the precise historical knowledge of the mandale past of our Suresh Raj.
This past history of Suresh Raj tells us why and how he has made a conscious decision to afflict KU with denigration of the basic human values, the freedom to organize and the freedom to express ourselves in order to bring about practical change and progress in the way KU is moving now. Had he not been a mandale, he would have tried to uphold the ultimate validity of these basic human values by peacefully accepting the present reality of Nepal and rights of faculties and staffs of KU. Rather, he along with his rabble-rousing supporters tried to carry their own logic to the point of no return. We will never renegade on our mission and given his mandale mindset Suresh Raj would not stop his threats, intimidations, coercions and throttling the academic values in KU.
And, Preachers must also know that the only time suicide commands admiration by the posterity is when it purports to re-establish positive social values to the human society. Buddhi Bahadur realized this and he has provided us a legacy to continue our fight. He died brave but did not live licking the boots of Suresh Raj. So, we will also meet our ends but we will never surrender to Suresh Raj.
At last, all the preachers who like us to toe the line of Suresh Raj, must rather know that they should rather be seen to be acting in favor of the common Nepali people rather than corrupt, nepotistic, thug mandales. As we are waging our peaceful struggle, every one must rather tell Suresh Raj to allow KU to grow as a real institution by releasing his choking hold here. This is the main demand of this revolution and that is what we would like to see happen here, sooner than later. So, peaceful KU revolution is for the re-establishment of human freedom for the entire Nepali people not only for the faculties and staff of KU. If we can not ensure equality and freedom in KU we have no right to speak for creating a ground for natural social justice and a lasting peace in the society we choose to live in.
