Suresh Raj's predicament
Vice Chancellor Suresh Raj is in a soup. He has become the target of his relatives, sons of Sitaram, professional bootlickers like Pushpa Raj and Bhadre man, and his own daughter, and all those who have been consistently demanding to crush the voice of righteousness in KU. A red-faced, but a chicken vice-chancellor from Sindhuli was earlier portrayed as a person having heavy influence on Nepal's educational policies, and he was also considered in the good book of all the faculties and staffs of KU. However, the success of KU movement brought out glaring holes in his persona and profile. It has been revealed through the movement that;
(i) He is a mandale.
(ii) He lacks academic credibility.
(iii) His personal conducts are dubious.
(iv) He is ruthless and as a mandale he can force employees to commit suicide.
(v) And he can go scot free even after committing heinous crimes through his mafia network in Nepal.
He was one of the key figures in destroying Nepal's educational system by becoming the coordinator of the Educational policy review team in 1970. He was responsible for throttling the voice of employees in Budhanilkantha School and he is responsible for turning a budding institute into family property. He hobnobbed with palace, Madhav Nepal, Girija and other leaders so that he could ensure job security for his and sitaram's wards and relatives, and ensure family leadership in KU. When came under attack Sitaram too ran for cover leaving everything on Suresh Raj to turn KU into a haven for them. But today, they are all targeting Suresh Raj. Suresh Raj deserves criticisms from every other Nepali but not by his own family members. And it is really nauseating to know that relatives of Suresh Raj wants him to sack certain faculties for issuing challenges to him in a cyberspace. They want Suresh Raj to take disciplinary actions against these faculties CITING the SAME REASON of issuing challenges through blogs. And these relatives are really worried that Suresh Raj is not going to choke the voice of resistance in cyberspace.
Yeah, for the first time, we express our solidarity with all these bootlickers and relatives of Suresh Raj that Suresh Raj should take disciplinary actions for opening up of the blogs and issuing challenges through the blogs. If Suresh Raj is not chicken, coward, and heinous animal, then he should do what his relatives, and bootlickers are asking him to do.
But, machiavellian thugs never operate openly. This is the case with Suresh Raj also. Never ever in his life Suresh Raj has acted transparently. So, there is no chance that he would act transparently this time also.
We believe, as VC of KU Suresh Raj has done a tremendous job. He looted KU and resorted to corrupt practices himself and allowed Manish also to become another Paras. He helped goons of Dhulikhel to earn some money through their temporary employment in KU against staffs and teachers of KU. If it was not Suresh Raj assuming the position of VC in KU for 15 years, the NEPOTISM would not have become a way of life in KU with such an ease. But as an academician, he has never been successful. He has failed to boost morale of the Faculties, Staffs and Students. As a result, the reputation and quality of KU has dwindled alarmingly in the recent months. All the staffs, teachers and students are either totally fed up with Suresh Raj and silently cursing his anarchy in KU. Suresh Raj being VC should be able to make every one happy in KU. If he is unable to do any of these, he should tender his resignation.
Suresh Raj's predicament is two folds. Either to quit KU or become further ruthless by sacking faculties and staffs one by one. By quitting KU, he can at least face his save and retire peacefully. He has no new ideas and visions for KU now. Even his speeches are also boring. People in KU does not like his speeches as his supporters do not like this blog. Similarly, by becoming further ruthless, he can please his family, relatives, his lovely daughter and his siblings who are either corrupt or goons. So, it is the time for Suresh Raj to take a strong decision in one direction. If he wants to emerge as a human being, he should ignore the demands for further suppression from the corrupt, incompetent and unpopular members of his family and his group in KU. The agitators' demand is highly justified, so he need not care on being wrong in that count. After quitting KU he can go to trekking for some panache to absolve himself from his sins against late Buddhi Bahadur Vishwokarma.
On the other hand, he can become real Mafia don of KU by strangulating voices in KU. Once he does, he can even buy BMW or Mercedes for KU's VC. Every member of his family and his corrupt bootlicking group in KU would defend his buying BMW as a fundamental right of KU's VC. They would say that KU is an elite institute and VC here must exude elitism through his deeds and actions. Yeah, ordinary sons of Nepalis would be killed as they would hang themselves because of having lost their jobs in KU. In that case also, Suresh Raj need not bother. Who cares for the death of Dalits and sons of other Nepalis? Gyanendra killed 19, he is still safe. Sitauala killed 38 he is still home minister. And Suresh Raj! you have killed only one. So, your position is far better than that of others and you can continue your killing spree by using this option.
